Devastator
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Devastator ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit devastator.app or get in touch with us. We keep data collection to a minimum: the website is a static, database-free site, and we only process the information described below.
Information we collect
We collect very little, and only where it is needed:
- Contact details you provide. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message so we can respond to you.
- Anti-spam signals. To protect the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile assesses whether you are a genuine visitor (see the Cloudflare Turnstile section below).
- Usage and technical data. Aggregated, privacy-focused website analytics (for example pages viewed, approximate region, browser type) and standard server or content-delivery logs such as IP address, used to operate, secure and improve the site.
We do not run user accounts, and we do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) personal data.
How we use your information
- To reply to enquiries you send us through the contact form.
- To protect the website and form against spam, abuse and fraud.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations where applicable.
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, our legal bases are your consent (when you choose to contact us) and our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the site.
Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection)
Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. Turnstile helps us confirm that a real person, rather than an automated bot, is submitting the form.
To do this, Turnstile may collect information about your interaction with the form and limited technical data about your device and browser. Turnstile is designed to protect privacy and does not use this information to track you across websites or to serve advertising. The processing is carried out by Cloudflare, Inc. as part of providing this security service.
For full details of what Turnstile collects and how Cloudflare handles it, see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.
Contact form delivery (Web3Forms)
Submissions from our contact form are delivered to us by Web3Forms, which forwards the message to our inbox. The information you enter (your name, email and message) passes through Web3Forms solely to deliver it to us. See the Web3Forms Privacy Policy for more information.
Website analytics
We use StatCounter to collect aggregated, privacy-respecting statistics about how the site is used (such as page views and general visitor trends). This helps us improve the website. See the StatCounter Privacy Policy for details of the data it processes.
Hosting and security (Cloudflare)
The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which provides content delivery, performance and security protection. As part of this, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) to route traffic and defend the site against attacks. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. Some essential or security technologies, including Cloudflare Turnstile and our analytics provider, may set limited cookies or store small amounts of data in your browser in order to function. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and respond to you, namely Cloudflare (including Turnstile), Web3Forms and StatCounter, each acting under their own privacy terms linked above. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We keep contact-form messages only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence, after which they are deleted. Analytics and security logs are retained for limited periods by the relevant providers in line with their policies.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, it is protected by appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) provided by those organisations.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Children's privacy
This website is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
